Hugh “Dan” Wilson, PURISMA, pg 7-8. “Danny Wilson was the guy that turned everything around.” This inaugural meeting quote by Bob Kirby only hints at Dan’s contribution to diving. His introduction of the first mixed gas diving system with a 400-foot dive in 1962 was followed by successful operations for Phillips Petroleum, Shell and others.
